Mr. Claude Tchao, Chairman & Founding Member Mr. Tchao is one of Canada’s seafood industry pioneers, supplying live, fresh and frozen seafood products to North America, Asia, Europe & Middle East. His firm has also established exclusive agreements to manage a large spectrum of trading products which requires extensive travelling to Asia. Mr. Tchao is also very involved in community work as the Founder and Chair of the Canadian Chinese Table Tennis Federation, Former President Western Canada Seafood Merchant and Processing Association and Senior Vice Chair APCEO Worldwide. |

Mr. David Chu, Vice Chairman & Founding Member Mr. Chu was born, raised and educated in Hong Kong. Following a 26 year career in Hong Kong he immigrated to Canada with his family and became a Canadian Citizen in 1998. Mr. Chu has established a network of business colleagues since arriving in Canada and as a major contributor to the betterment of the business community, Mr.Chu is recognized and respected for his business accomplishments and the additional challenges he has accepted over the years to build trade relations between Canada and China. |

Mr. Mahmoud Aziz, Vice Chairman & Founding Member Mr. Aziz oversees and manages a diversified, multinational group of 38 companies with operations in 18 countries. He has gained a wealth of global & Asia business knowledge and experience, through his group’s investments, political negotiations and geographic exposure, especially while living in China for 22 years. He has developed numerous contacts with the national, provincial & municipal government in China and successfully established 7 Sino-foreign joint venture factories and a 73 story office/residential plaza in China. Mr. Aziz organized the first Shanghai Products Trade Exhibition in S. Africa with over 150 Shanghai factories which resulted in a direct trade relationship and recognized for his efforts with the China Foreign Export Award. |

Mr. Patrick Wong, Vice Chair & Founding Member Mr. Wong since immigrating to Canada from Hong Kong took time from his corporate life to serve as a Member of the Provincial Government and elected as MLA. He was appointed Minister of State for Immigration and Multi-cultural Services & Chaired the Government Caucus Asia Economic Development committee. Mr. Wong also served on several government committees & several business community associations. |

Mr. Peter Podovinikoff, Vice Chairman & Founding Member Mr. Podovinikoff is a business executive with over 40 years in leadership positions & continues to remain active serving on a number of commercial and community Boards. Mr. Podovinikoff is the Past Chair of the Fraser River Port Authority and Past Chair of a major insurance company in Canada. He serves on the Board of Directors at Kwantlen Polytechnic University as the Past Chair. He has a proven record of achievement in leading successful financial service organization building successful teams and relating to various levels of government. |

Ms. Florence Gordon, Director General & Founding Member Ms. Gordon is the former President of the Richmond Chamber of Commerce. After revitalizing a 75 year-old business in a City that boasts 68% Asian population an alliance was built with the Asian business community & 1,000s of new entrepreneurs were given assistance through the development of programs & a business center. Ms. Gordon served on several community associations including Chair of the City of Richmond’s Economic Advisory committee, and produced the 9.1.1 Awards for the RCMP, Coast Guard, Firefighters and Paramedics. Prior to this Ms. Gordon held several senior Management positions in finance, marketing, public relations, human resources and served on several business & community Boards of Directors. |

Mr. Frederick Lee, Director & Founding Member Mr. Lee immigrated to Canada in 1988 and immediately became actively productive In business. In 1996 he was a member of the Organizing Committee of the 4th World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention in Vancouver and participated as a Delegate of Team Canada led by former Prime Minister Jean Chrétien. Since 1996, Mr. Lee has made a major contribution to Canada through involvement in his Committee work to strengthen business ties between China and Canada. |

Mr. Paul Pang, Director & Founding Member Mr. Pang’s role with New Asia Capital Consultants Inc. is involvement of company acquisitions, financing and overseeing real estate projects such as the Shangri-la Hotel in Toronto (the tallest hotel residence in Canada) and the new Shangri-la Hotel in Vancouver. Prior to this Mr. Pang was responsible for the Development of nearly 900 wood frame detached homes built in Beijing (the biggest Canadian wood frame project in China). |

Dr. Arthur Coren, Director Dr. Coran received his PhD at the University of Nebraska and a Masters degree from University of BC. Before joining Kwantlen in 1996, his business experience included working for Northern Telecom and Hewlett-Packard. Mr. Martin Yeung, Director Mr. Yeung was born and raised in Hong Kong and calls Vancouver his home. As President of Miles Marketing Inc. & Aurora Supershows Ltd. and his expertise in a niche Chinese market helped launched the 1st Chinese travel guide in Canada. Mr. Yeung contributed to the community as Past President of a Lions Club, Chinese Community council member for Heart and Stroke Foundation, United Nations Day Richmond Food Bank, SUCCESS, BC Cancer Society and political elections. Mr. Yeung recently joined REMAX Select Realty while continuing to consult on marketing projects. |
